I have my water sono tomorrow....
Can I/should I take some sort of tylenol or motrin like before the HSG? I should mention I have a high tolerance for pain

Well... it depends...
Are you having a water sono? or an HSG? they are two different test...
Water Sono's are painless at least I thought it was...
I also thought they HSG wasn't that painful, but some girls take something before going.

I am having the water sono tomorrow. I had the HSG a while ago. It was not that bad but I did take an advil beforehand.

I think you will be fine with the water sono, they just do a sono and take like a turkey baster type thing and squish some saline in... then when you sit up, it pours out and you need to put a pad on just in case... but I think you should be fine.

I don't think you need to take anything for the water sono...it's pretty much painless and only lasts for a minute or so.
