I have no patience - waiting for verifi
Just venting. I'm waiting for verifi results. I have no reason to think there will be a problem, but I guess I am a worrier. Ever since they drew the blood, I have a knot in my stomach waiting for these results. I worried through my entire pregnancy with my son too. I know it's unproductive, but I get stuck on fear. Anyway, they told me the results would take about a week. I went last Tues morning at 7 am to my dr office to have the blood drawn. So today being Tuesday I called to see if the results were in (like I said, no patience). Of course they weren't. I also have a terrible head cold and ear infection, and I just wanted to hear good news. Also I'm having mixed feelings about finding out the gender. I have a boy already, and I want a girl. I probably will not have anymore children after this one. I feel like I'm having a boy, and I think I will be disappointed. Nothing wrong with boy babies. I have one who is my WHOLE WORLD. Just disappointed that I will probably never have my daughter if the baby is in fact a boy. Also, my parents have 3 grandsons and no granddaughter. Blah blah blah. This is all trivial crap, but when you have been sick for days and the weather is miserable there's nothing to do but sit around and obsess over test results and things I have no control over. Thanks for reading and (maybe) understanding.

I hope you get your answers soon! As far as gender, don't put so much pressure on yourself. You will be just as over the moon no matter boy or girl.

I'm with you, only I did mine a month ago and they only got enough blood to run the one side of the panel. I had to go back and do a redraw to get the other side which is the downs and trisomys and of course the sex. Friday will be 14 days. I Have knots I just want to know healthy and then boy or girl!!

This is so true. Until today I was saying, I don't care what it is. Now I guess I'm in pity party mode and I want to find more potentially bad things to feel. LOL. At least I can laugh at myself.

I would have been so mad!!! I'm sorry that happened to you. Why is it 14 days? They told me 7-10 days. Maybe it wasn't verifi, maybe yours is a different lab? Best of luck!

I know I was so pissed, lol. I did the panorama, they told me 10 business days, so I got them like 2 weeks later. I'm hoping it's before Friday but it will probably be on Friday. I'm dying over here, I have the same knot you do! Hopefully the wait is over soon for both of us!

My panorama took 9 calendar days but they sent it to a local lab so maybe that made it run faster. ETA : I was absolutely certain that I was having a boy and it is a girl so you never know.

I waited for the Verifi test, after two failed MaterniT21 tests. It was about a month before I got any definitive results. I cried every single night while I waited. It was the worst. I felt like I did not enjoy my pregnancy at all because of these tests.
I have a beautiful healthy baby boy now. I hope you get good results. Sending hugs your way.

It typically takes 10 business days, so you're almost there! Hang in there, I'm sure the baby is healthy!

I had panorama and Dh was able to get the results 7 days later to give my step mom to get to the bakery.

verifi takes 7-10 calendar days. i even double checked with the lab on the timeframe.
i'm on day 8, so not too much longer (hopefully).

The testing is very hard for me too. I had a scare with my son. I'm desperate to hear the word "normal." Thanks for relating to me
