I have Planter Faciatis!
Just got back from the Dr. I got it from the pregnancy. Its so painful and tough to rest it when you are taking care of a baby.
Did anyone else get this problem from pregnancy? My doc said its common.

I thought I had it too but then when I went to the podiatrist he diagnosed me with tendonitis of both feet (because it was not just my heels that that point) but it started with my heels. Maybe I compensated by walking funny on my feet and it caused the tendonitis. But there were days I could barely walk out of bed to the bathroom. I was told it's also common. HOpe you feel better soon! Can you ice it?

Thanks girls for responding! Ice definately helps. I also have this brace I have to wear at night or when sitting down. I was just so surprized when he told me. I never had anything wrong with my feet before this.

It's weird that you brought this up because my feet have been bothering me lately. Since she has been born I have noticed it the bottoms are sore but toward the outside underneath. I never had any problems with my feet. Can you explain what Planter Faciatis is.

I had it during pregnancy also. But it has gotten better. My BIL is a podiatrist so he totally helped me out. Try not to wear flip flops it makes it so much worse.

i have it from running not from pregnancy - try wear amid eal -1.5"-2" actually feels better
freeze a water bottle full of water and when frozen roll undedr foot - feels really good
also a lacrosse ball is good to roll under foot to break up the scar tissue

its an inflammation of the ligament in your foot that runs along your arch. I would get it checked if its bothering you a lot. Mine is pretty bad and probably would have gotten better quicker if I treated it a long time ago.

My hubby has this (not from pregnancy  )
The symptons come and go
HE got very pricey inserts for any shoes/sneakers he wears. they were partially covered by insurance.
HE feels MUCH better when he wears them, then he'll go a period of time without them and his feet kill him again  men
