I have some gear questions for baby #2..Help!
Ava will be 4 in July, and will be here in September. I registered for the Jeep side-by-side double stroller, but Dh doesn't think I need it. I am thinking I will use for the airport, the city or situations like that. Ava doesn't usually sit in a stroller except when we go to either of those places.
So, should I not get one? I have been looking to buy a used one, and found one on craigslist. I drove all the way to the womans house, and she didn't answer the door!! I def don't need it on a daily basis, but I like to be prepared. What do you think?
Also, where do I put car seat in the back seat? Ava is on the passenger side. She has the Britax Regent that holds up to 80 lbs, and will be in it as long as I can keep her there.
I have a Honda Pilot, and there are no anchors in the middle. Should I put behind me, anchored in? Or should I put him in the middle with the belt, so that I can reach him? Or do you think Ava will be all over him if he is next to her?
I know I am obsessing, but that's me!
Thanks, Tara

I don't think you will be using it using it all that much. If anything I would get a sit and stand instead of double, even for the airport or the city.
DS (older) is behind the driver's seat and DD is beind the passenger. Both are anchored in.

I agree with all of this and this is just what I did.
I would definitely place your DD behind the driver side. Here's the reason: if you ever park on the street, you're going to need to put the baby in first and so your DD can stand on the sidewalk next to you. Otherwise, the whole operation is taking place on the street side and you can't have your DD standing around in the street. I learned this the hard way before I switched the seating arrangements!
