The paci - well we took her to the Dentist a few weeks ago, and the Dentist said SHE had to be the one to give it up, otherwise she might suck her thumb. So our job was to convince her that she didn't need it anymore.
We were in Club Med last week and she went to Le Petite Club from 9-5 and 7-9 every day. I forggot to pack it with her stuff the first day, and then just kept forgetting. She was still using it at night.
After our 2nd day home, I didn't give it to her for her nap, and that night DH fell asleep in her bed with her.
Now, one of use lies down with her at bedtime to help soothe her, but she hasn't even ASKED for it since day 2 without it.
I dunno, maybe the DDS helped. Maybe the potty training, and the Potty Power DVD and talking about being a "Big Kid Now" did it.....whatever it was, I think it was a combo of her being ready and circumstances...
