i have to stop fighting to....
keep my house clean everyday,,,
i'm just not enjoying this... i spend every day trying to catch up...
i'm really ready just to say screw it!!!
it makes me feel good to have a clean house... but is it really worth it to drive myself nuts and ignore my husband every night... just to catch up a little?

I know the feeling. I keep things tidy but don't do major cleaning unless I have someone watch DD.
Also, I don't care if DH's works more hours in the office, he needs to pitch in. Taking care of a baby is a job, too. if it wasn't, we wouldn't have to pay for babysitters.

Cleaning? huh?
It drives me nuts too but other than keeping the floors clean(she's crawling), I have decided to stop getting nuts about it. The few hours I have after work I would rather be with my baby, not cleaning.
That being said, I have to go call the cleaning lady to come for my monthly clean up

I had a meltdown a few weeks ago partly due to this very issue. And I only have a 2 bedroom apartment. I can't imagine a house. Maybe if DD would nap in the afternoon without me having to take her out, I could get something done.

haha... i am sick of cleaning too.. sometimes i dont even bother. DD just messes up whatever ive done either no more than 5 minutes later or AS IM CLEANING IT the only time i can clean is when she is with someone else and im home alone.. which is rare lol

same! I thought I wanted a big house one day, not anymore(unless it comes with a staff)
I let it go, I do a power hour of cleaning at night once I put him down.
I only do the bathrooms if leo is home.
I do laundry throughout the day, wait till night to fold while I watch TV.
