I honestly forgot how exhausting the world of TTC can be..

I have two sons. The first we said "hey lets try.." and 2 weeks later i had a BFP.

With my second son, it took 4 months. Which i know isn't terrible. But the 3 months of BFN's and reading into every symptom was so terribly draining.

This time we're hoping for baby #3. The first month didn't happen. Which i expected. But its funny...here i am , all over again, reading into every symptom, running out and buying pregnancy tests before AF is due (she arrived today) and researching like crazy.

I know it'll happen when it happens, but i'm now 4 years older than my last child and just wondering how much that affects fertility.

Good luck to everyone on this board and may all our time here be short lived...and in the meantime, I am going to stick with the mindframe "the baby thats meant to be ours will happen when it's supposed to happen".

I totally know EXACTLY how you are feeling!!!!!

and #3 this is the second month and I have been so sad thinking how I don't "feel pregnant" at all....besides some extra gas, ewcm and cramping on and off.....it's nothing that can't just be indigestion and af on her way

and im 4 yrs older than i was when i had my first (2 yrs older than i was when i had my second) and I feel the same way about the age possibly making it harder to get pregnant

i guess we got spoiled with it only taking 2 months both times and now I'm upset that this might not happen at all mainly because ive given myself only a short amount of ttcing time because of my age (which some people would think my age is not issue at all and even say im young in their eyes, but i dont want to go past a certain age and will be soon so it is an issue FOR ME) so next month would possibly be my last month of trying

so im trying to mentally prepare myself for the fact that if im not pregnant this or next month that this is what was meant for me 2 beautiful girls and I'm extremely happy with that!

I'm very thankful for what i have and i give the couples out there who have struggled with infertility huge huge props...one of my closest friends has been trying to get pg for almost 3 years and is now into the adoption process. I pray for her all the time, its easy to take for granted how quickly it can happen!!

Also TTC #3 and I'm exhausted! I'm worrying how will I handle a newborn and 2 kids if I feel like this already. I'm 4 years older then when I TTC for #1 and I certainly feel the difference.

I have only a few months before I reach my "cutoff" age, so that stress is not helping.

I have big plans for this baby that I hope to be blessed with, but trying to keep in mind that it may be more difficult to conceive this time.

Let's hope for a short stay try to stay positive

And my OPK has not been positive all month so I feel very discouraged. Dc # 2 took 1 month to conceive

I agree totally trying for #2 ... In the 2ww now and forgot how much your mind can play tricks on you! 4 dpo and keep thinking is this something or that

I am TTC #2 and it is mentally draining. I keep thinking about how old DS will be when the new baby will (hopefully) be born. I'm already getting to the point where it's more of an age difference I wanted so every month is such a feeling of pressure.
