I just calculated my maternity leave days
and my vacation, personal, and sick which can all be tacked on after maternity, and figured out that if I don't take any time off between now and my EDD (8/13 would be my last work day), I don't have to be back at work till 12/29/2010, fully paid!!!!
I wonder if they will let me take 2 additional days and just come back in the New Year!!!

You can take that much time!? How lucky! I wish!!
Even though I have enough vacation/personal/sick time to give me 13+ weeks at this point, I can only take 12 weeks because my agency will only hold my job for that long in accordance with FMLA.

sooo jealous....my vaca and sick days only cover about 8 weeks paid....and my job gives no paid maternity leave...but alows for me to take off 6 months to a year.....unpaid.

THAT is awesome!!!
I think I can take close to 4 months too but I am taking three months ( out July 23rd back Nov 1st ) to leave some days for the holidays and if the baby is sick etc.
Did you remember NOT to count holidays? I know the first time I counted I forgot that and shorted myself a few days.
Stay strong! So far the only day I took off was a really bad snow day that we didn't get off. I am dragging my behind in here every single day

I am really lucky!
We get 12 weeks full pay, and I just got promoted this year, so I have 4 weeks vacation, 1 week rollover from last year, and 8 sick/personal days, for 18+ weeks at full pay.
Now I just have to hope that I stay healthy so that I can drag my butt into work every day before then!
