That was the first one I read, before I knew the expect a "twist"and loved it. I think it's going to be a movie.

She definitely looks young IRL. But she is in her midthirties. I saw pictures of her filming, I think she wears a bald cap in the film too. B/C the mom shaves her head in the book, right? (I can't remember, I read it a few years ago.)

I cried so hard at the end of this book. This was the first of her books that I've read and it's one of my favorites by her. If you haven't read Nineteen Minutes yet, you should.

I loved my sister keeper, but thought nineteen minutes way just ok. And as far s Cameron Diaz playing the mother in the movie....HATE it. I think someone more like Julianne Moore would have been much better.

I could see Cameron Diaz as the guardian (I am blanking right now) rather than the mother.
