I just found out my mom has shingles
I already called the doctor and I will be fine but I feel so bad for her. Apparently Shingles are very painful. They are not contagius in the same way Chicken Pox are. It is a very strange disease.

Re: I just found out my mom has shingles
I had shingles when I was in high school. I don't remember being in pain, but they were so ugly and it took awhile for them to go away (or maybe it just seemed that way because it was June and I felt gross for having them on my arm and neck.) I hope your mom feels better soon.

Re: I just found out my mom has shingles
tell her to try some tea tree oil on them it is a natural topical antibotic. just a little bit on a cotton ball a few times a day and it should help with the pain and will help to dry them up.
