I just got Cailen's SS card in the mail!
I'm looking at this card, and am thinking - wow, this number will be who he is in the world... I remember in college, our grades would be posted on our professor's door, and it would be next to our SS# instead of our name... My SS# is a number that is always in my head and ready when asked for...
So strange that this 3 wk old peanut now has a "number"

I just got mine last week and DD is 10 weeks.
Did you by chance deliver at StonyBrook?
I am also still waiting on her birth certificate.

I felt wierd when I got Taylor's ss card in the mail. Especially when I see the line for a signature, it makes me laugh, it will be awhile before that gets signed.
Still waiting on birth certificate though, after almost 7 weeks

Huntington Hospital. I am still waiting on his birth certifcate though...

the birth cert. came after the ss card. I think it took like 3 weeks for ss and 6-8 for birth cert.
