I just got offered a new job!
I just got offered the job that I posted about a few days ago that they thought I might be overqualified for. I'm so excited!! I've been looking for a job in a library ever since I got my MLS 3 years ago and finally I got one! Plus the salary is a little higher than my current one, I'll have 22 days vacation, and I can walk to work. The money saved in commuting (I currently go from Manhattan to Hoboken) is gonna be awesome. Plus I won't be getting hit w/two state taxes. Anyway, it's not really official yet as they are sending me some papers to look over about health insurance and stuff, but I'm about 90% sure I'll take it! Just wanted to share my excitement!!
