cooked live crabs! My MIL gave me this recipe where you make crabs in sauce, and the recipe calls for boiling the live crabs in the sauce.

I'm thinking, "this can't be too difficult", but let me tell you how wrong I was...

The sauce is boiling. I put the first crab in. It's fighting me all the way. (I'm almost in tears mind you.) I keep putting them in, and covering the pot quickly, and they kept crawling out!!! Omg, I'm getting palpatations just picturing it again...

Do you think that stopped me from eating the crab sauce?

1. I will NEVER use live crabs again.

2. If I DO decide to eat this again using live crabs, I will NOT be the one cooking them...

Oh man, I could never do that. I cry when I see that stuff on TV because I feel so bad for them.

Not that is stops me from eating lobster or crabs in a restaurant, but doing it myself is another story.

I could NEVER watch my mom cook lobster! I love it, but have to leave the kitchen. I just cannot do it.

I remember my mom cooking live lobsters when I was little and hearing them scream. I swear that still haunts me I could NEVER do it myself
