I just hate my car more

We switched Luka to the convertiable car seat at 8 months and at first we put it on the passenger side but the latches didnt reach for some reason so we had to use the seat belt. The problem with that was the seat belt was in the way when you need to take him in and out. We moved it to the middle it was fine it just didnt seem like the seat belt was tight enough and it seemed to move to me but DH said it was good. Well today I was driving home from my dr.'s appointment (all on side streets) and I look in my rear view mirror and the car seat is nearly completely on it side . I pulled over quickly and put it back but now I am worried to drive like that and of course dh is out of town for work and wont be home until tomorrow. Does anyone know if I can just go to the police station in farmingdale or do I need an appointment.

Not sure if you need an appointment, but if it were me, I would just go. I don't think they would refuse to help you.
