I just joined facebook and I have Q
On the righthand of the screen it says that one of my friends commented on pics. When I click it brings me to one of her friends photopage. Is that normal? I am not friends with this person. I don't want friends of friends to be able to get into my profile and pics so how do I know if they can?

the feed on the right hand side is just a lot of general info -- when a friend comments on someone else's pics and stuff--it shows up.
if you want to keep things private -- go to Settings - then Privacy Settings
Click Profile
Then you can customize the settings -- I have "Only Friends" for just about everything.
Then if you have pics up -- you click "Edit Photo Album Settings" and you can set your albums to friends only

Yes that is normal. If you don't want anyone but your friends to see your pics, go to your privacy settings at the top of the page and select that option. It will not allow others to view the pics at all.
