I just keep learning everyday - Will related!
We found out some interesting facts about wills with children of special needs, trust funds, etc...
I am not sure if any of you have looked into it yet but I recommend you eventually talk to someone who deals with this.
We met with an attorney but she also specialize in special need people.
We have to change our will since DS was diagnosed. Every thing changed. Like who would take care of him, etc...
I found out that letting DS inheritate could compremise his ability to get medicare, assistance, etc...
It's totally new to us but I just wanted to mention it here too.

I will say this again, this is why everyone should have their estate/death documents drawn up by an attorney that specialized in this area of the law. I want you to also remember that your needs change as you get older and your children get older so you will have to review your documents periodically. Laws also change too.

I want you to also remember that your needs change as you get older and your children get older so you will have to review your documents periodically. Laws also change too.
Having everything in order is especially more important now.
The $$$ spent on this is totally worth it. We get to learn about legal advise on what is available, the Law, etc.. what is the "best" plan for DS and his future.
