i just threw it ALL out! the garbage men are going to hate me!
DH and i did MAJOR cleaning out today since DS slept at grandma's last night. (and we got a GREAT night's sleep!) 
i threw out:
bridal shower cards
wedding cards
extra wedding invitations
my binder of wedding c rap
clothes to be donated--3 bags!
picture frames
books (will see if library can sell them)
videos
cds
boxes
and the list goes on and on!!!!
it feels so good to throw stuff out. i'm a little sad about the wedding stuff, but i really don't need to hold onto 400 cards. i have to tell myself it's for the best.
our garbage cans are totally overflowing!

LOL - I just took a break from doing the same thing! I am in the basement throwing out wedding stuff and going through my boxed wedding gifts. You are lucky that you had your DH helping. Mine is still in his pajamas watching football.

we did the same. I threw out 5 bags of shredded paper from my office.
And it's not even half done.
This is what happens with your OCD cousin comes for dinner. I felt I had to clean!

this is on my list to start doing
I need to re-organize my storage room (my tiny third bedroom that holds assorted crap- the hard top for the convertiable, the litter box, and g-d only knows what else!)
the waste of space is annoying me and I need more space
we also have the bike Jake bought himself for X-mas last year (2 weeks after he had a neck operation- guess how many times it's been used)
I really want to find a way to store that better- I need house with a basement or a garage- but that isn't happening for at least another year or 18 months!
