I knew it had to get complicated sometime!! (Vent)
We found our house in mid-Oct. Offer was accepted that week.
Ever since then the process has been getting slower and slower. Its driving me insane!!! 
As of today the contact signed by the sellers was mailed to our lawyer on Wed so hopefully by Mon. she will get it. Title has been ordered but not in yet.
Now suddenly we need to spend approx. $800 on a survey of the property because the sellers never had one!!!
I swear at the rate we are going - we still wont be in our house by Easter!!!

That is how we felt too...It was extremely frustrating!! Why is the survey so much? Ours was not that much!

How much was yours if you dont mind me asking? (you can FM me if you dont want to post)
When I woke up today I realized how whiny this post sounds  and I'm dissapointed in myself. I should just feel blessed that we are able to afford the house and its a beautiful one at that when there are people around the world who have no homes at all.
It was time for a meltdown and then a reality check...but thank you for understanding!

We needed to get a survey too which held us up. It was very frustrating. Ours cost $600.
