I knew this day would come....

as much as I monitor the crayon use and watch as he colors, I left him for but a second and he colored the TV screen, window and table cloth! Chat Icon

The 1st two are no problem, but I am reading that to get crayon out of fabric to use WD-40 or Goo Gone. I have the goo gone but won't it leave an oil stain?

Anyone have tips?

Thanks! Chat Icon

They sell little bottles of Carbona. I have seen them in Walmart and they make one for crayons. They are in the detergent section.

My tip is to get your DH in hte picture with your son & post on the Wild & Crazy family thread - at least you'll get a computer out of itChat Icon

I would test the Goo-Gone. Doesn't it depend on the type of crayone he used? oil based?

This was one thing I worried about so that's why we've had nothing but washable crayola crayons. They come right off of everything! Chat Icon

of course we have TONS of washable crayons, but he happened to be using a crayon from another tub of crayons that I always kept in the house for when other older children came to visit Chat Icon
