I know I have to post pics, but I passed the ultimate "looking pregnant" test...
I ran insto a woman I haven't seen since last year.
we are talking, I had my coat open, and she stole some glances at my belly. Finally, she just couldn't hold back, and pointed to my belly and said - "Wow...." So, either she really was taking a HUGE gamble, or she was pretty definite I looked pregnant...
So, that means I look pregnant and not chubby anymore, I'm assuming....
When I told her I have 10 wks to go, I still got the " Wow - you are carrying so small!" comment - so maybe I'm not as huge as I thought

I loved it when people just asked when I was dur instead of asking that risky question. I enjoyed messing with ppl when they asked when I was due - I put on an angry face and said I've had a rough year and ate too much thank for noticing then burst out laughing when they looked shocked

Isn't that a great feeling?? I just felt fat for a while, but once my belly popped I felt so much better

Liza, I was sick like you and slow to gain weight the first time...the last 8 weeks did me in for weight gain. It catches up b/c now you are mainly adding baby weight and fattening him/her up! Look at the bright side, chances are good you will have a smaller baby [if you have an 8-pounder or more, I'll be shocked] and be able to carry him/her longer before getting tired/sore arms, he/she will stay in size/age appropriate clothing longer/better and smaller diapers longer [and considering MORE diapers come in the small size packs for the same price as the larger ones with fewer diapers, that is awesome]!
Some people in my ofice don't even know I'm pregnant...one lady didn't even know i was wearing maternity clothes until I lifted my shirt and showed her the elastic waist [she knew I was PG though]. I've gained 10 pounds...though most of it must be in my belly!
