but seriously, if I get asked ONE MORE TIME, how Im feeling, I may lose it.

I know people are just being nice, but I work in an office with literally like 800 people, and every.single.time., I pass someone, go to the bathroom, go to a meeting, someone passes by my cube, I go into the kitchen....I get asked the same question and keep having to have the same convo over and over again.

I know Im being cranky, and people mean well, which is why I smile, tell them I feel great, and thanks for asking, but in my head, Im doing this .

I wanted to kill my father in law this past week for doing the same thing! He was staying with us and he constantly asked me how I was feeling. It's like he couldn't get it through his head that I'm pregnant and feeling exhausted and sick to my stomach is normal and the feeling doesn't just go away. It was really annoying. From the minute I got out of bed he was asking.

Then I had to listen to the suggestions about what to eat or do to feel better as if I could magically eat a saltine and be back to normal

People mean well but sometimes you just want to say leave me alone!

aghhh, I'm dreading this. i haven't told our office yet but I know I will get this and I KNOW it will drive me insane because I got it for months before our wedding. I know people mean well but it does just get repetitive and you want to be able to walk from the door to your desk without saying the same thing 12 times

That was probably my biggest pet peeve during pregnancy - especially the people who asked me EVERY time they saw me, even if it was 5 days a week.

I was always tempted to make up some story about my awful hemmies but I never had the guts

I wish people didnt say anything. they ask how are you feeling and I usually say pregnant with twins and walk away. im so tired of being nice. I want to say my back is killing me, acid reflux is miserable, everything is swollen, i really cant move that well.

They usually try to find what they think is a positive, like at least you can eat what ever you want. and at that point i just agree with them bc otherwise i might hurt them.

Its not their concern that bothers me, its very nice of them but the repetitiveness of it!

I totally agree. I am constantly getting asked "how are you feeling?" at work... Hello I am pregnant, not sick! My new thing is everytime I am asked that I respond with, "I am great, How are you feeling?"

LMAO believe me I know how you are feeling. If I say "I am doing good" I get back "what no morning sickness or anything like that".
It is nice for people to ask but it gets repetitive.

Then they take it one step further... "are you sure you should be here?"

I've had it so I tell them if they want to pay me to stay home, I'll take it. That usually shuts them up.

I know how you feel. While I know people are trying to be nice when they ask that, I feel like this broken record all the time. LOL.
