I know I'm not supposed to get attached...
or emotionally involved.
or think about a house all the time...
but, I can't help it and it is the main reason I'm up at 5am... and have been up since 2am.
I promised I wouldn't do this, I know that what is meant to be will find a way but this is so hard. We kind of got jerked around and that is what, I think, made me lose my "control" over the emotions of it all.
We put an offer in on a place (the third place we have liked and offered on), we got a counter, came up, basically got the thumbs up, and now we have to "wait" until Tuesday because tomorrow is a holiday so she can "ask" her Attorney at "decide" for sure.
I want to tell her to suuck it.
Thanks for the vent.

Re: I know I'm not supposed to get attached...
It is much easier said then done to not got emotional over a house or the process itself. It's a rollercoaster of emotions and any human being can say it has happened to them one form or another.
Just try to stay positive and what is meant to be is meant to be

Re: I know I'm not supposed to get attached...
I think we all ended up getting emotional. I didnt sleep for days when we were going back and forth with negotiations.
And in most cases the seller took more than the 24 hrs. So dont worry, I think everything will be fine.

Re: I know I'm not supposed to get attached...
It's completely normal. Just try to have faith that if it is meant to be it will. I went through this to, but in the end we bought a house that we made ours. Stay positive and GL on Tuesday.

Re: I know I'm not supposed to get attached...
i've been there! its really hard! I knew I wasn't supposed to either but I couldn't help it. I also had many sleepless nights dreaming about living in the place, worry about getting it, thinking about where I would put furniture etc.
Its all completly normal
Good luck, I hope you guys get this one!!!
