I don't like it either. I really liked Baby All and Ivory snow but my old dr. said to only use dreft so that last about 2 small bottles worth and now I use Free and Clear what ever brand I get and Totally Toddler Fabric softner.

I don't like it either! I also don't like the cost. I've always used Baby All. I was using ALL for years before Caiden so it was easy to buy this. Baby All is the same price as regular detergent and smells good.

I think dreft is such a rip off. The smell doesn't stay with the clothes after they are dried. After we finish the bottle we bought before DD was born we are switching to all free and clear, it's much cheaper. If she tolerates that, either the whole family will use it or she will be a Tide girl like mom and day

I use All Free & Clear or even this other cheaper brand that has a free & clear -- I forget the name right now. I personally love the way dreft smells but it is just way too expensive to use ALL the time. We bought 2 containers of it and then switched to ALL F&C.

I have always used tide. Only when my babies were little did I use Ivory or Dreft. Other than that I have always used the clear detergent, my kids never had any problem. Some of youladies rely too much on what the old doc says and not enough on your own intuition. If you use a detergent and it give the little ones a rash then switch---no need for all this expensive stuff.
Sorry to be so bold----BUT....come on....

O M G finally someone with the balls to say it like it is!
Sometimes common sense should kick in, for ex: " I'm not sure why little Janey cries so much and only sleeps for 2 hours at a time, should I start her on cereal? She's only 6 months old?"
Ummmmmmmmm YEP! Your kid is STARVING. Feed him/her and you'll both be in no time.
Sorry to Highjack the post,it must be my hormones.
To answer the question, I always hated Dreft, doesn't even clean well. I use the clear also, for all of us.

I have to agree. Most of the girls are first time parents, no need to make them feel like idiots!!
I love Baby All
