I don't know what you have already from your DD.....but for my DS last year some of the stuff he got that he loved:
-push car/ride on
-wheel pals trucks
-little people transportation stuff---dump truck, train, plane etc
We didn't do a real big main gift, I figured he was still little and he didn't need anything big yet. HTH!

I got Landon a train table.
My sister got him the Elmo restuarant (deal was posted on here the other day).
I also want a tool bench for him.
