I know it's illegal but....

is anyone afraid that their boss will find "problems with your performance" after you tell them that you're pregnant and then use those as the reasons to fire you? I've worked for a non-profit for 7 years and there is a new administration who doesn't like me very much. I'm scared to tell them I'm pregnant but I know I have to early on because in my profession I'm required to physically restrain individuals who are otherwise out of control. I'm only 6 weeks....Any Advice?

I am not exactly sure what your work situation is like in regards to your administration but I would document EVERYTHING in regards to them which is exactly what they are going to do if they are trying to boot you. They can't boot you b/c your pregnant but if they dont like you, like you say, they will try to find another reason.
