I like the simplicity of the Eddie Bauer wooden high chair. I'm just not a fan of the huge highchairs on wheels.

We live in an apartment so I know what you mean about small space. We have the Fisher Price Space Saver. It's great because it has adjustable recline and converts to a booster. It sits on a chair.

I was looking at this but it wont work for us because we have only 4 chairs and we are a family of 5 now with the bay she NEEDS her own chair(highchair that is)

Re: I know its probably been asked a million times but
Ikea makes a teeny tiny looking wooden highchair that's the slimmest design I've seen and it was cheap too since it's Ikea.

I use the reclining ones that you attach to the chair. I LOVE the! I wash the whole tray in the sink (no dishwasher) and the padding is vinyl or vinyl-like and comes off easily to wash! And it saves space!

Re: I know its probably been asked a million times but
I have the Graco Contempo: http://www.gracobaby.com/catalog/product.aspx?modelNumber=3A00OWD&productID=785&tab=features&CategoryID=4&subCatID=
I love it! Our kitchen/dining area in our kitchen is way too small, but this is perfect for it. It folds SO slim but doesn't lack any size or functionality of a larger chair when its opened. I highly recommend it!

It looks like just what I am looking for when you fold it up will it still stand straight or do you have to lean it up against something???

Re: I know its probably been asked a million times but
I would never in a million years ever get one of those gigantic high chairs-
I went thru quite a few but then a friend recommended a booster seat that straps to a chair-what a huge space/time saver-sooooo easy to clean & with 2 babies, if I used 2 high chairs we'd have no room to walk! I have 2 similiar to this, and they are soooo easy to just unstrap&fold if we are going to grandma's to eat dinner!
edited to say-just read how you are a fam. of 5, if anything i'd buy 2 folding chairs to put these on before getting 2 high chairs!
