i know its so really early for this question but i need
some ideas..im having a baby in july and every year dh and i throw a labor day party..(So i want to get a head start on ideas.)we were never around kids until last year we couldnt believe how many were at our house...from ages 3-12yrs..now with my friends babies it will be ages 6 months-12 yrs old..i was thinking of renting something or hiring someone to entertain the kids..but i dont know ANYTHING About what kids like at those ages..what can i do for them?i want them to have fun...any suggestions? THANKS SO MUCH!!

I like the idea of the big blow-up thing. I wouldn't get a trampoline though, they can create problems.

You can get one of these at Costco for ~$325.00. It may beat renting it!!! You'll have it for years to come.
Plus may be something for the younger kids, magician, balloon artist,...but the older kids you may be able to plop infront of the tv with a movie.

That's pretty cool. It would be a good investment, if you throw the party every year. Plus then you'd have it when your little one's older.

I can remember the names of them. They are those things that you put on the lawn, street when there is a block party.

Also I got a slip & slide one year and the kids had a blast. Now they have big blow-up water slides.... may be a good idea too....
