I know there have been similar posts.. but,

I went off the pill last month. I had been off the pill previously (last year), and got my first period at about 35 days, which was fairly normal for me prior to going on BC.

This time around would have put me at getting my period on Dec 25th/26th. DH and I BD'd, but not really at any key times (depending on the length of my cycle), since we were not really "actively" trying this month nor do I really know when I O. We were planning on using OPKs for my next cycle.

So now-- still no period. My nips are extremely sore and I have little pains in my belly-- which I always have really due to gas pains, etc. I have also had a lot of creamy CM this week as well. I am thinking I will get my period any day now, but I can't help but wonder.

My boobs don't normally get sore as a PMS symptom, and since I was off BC last year, I felt like my PMS symptoms would be similar-- where as previously, I had been on BC for like 6 years, and I know your body changes and the pill just masks those changes.

Anyway-- I took a test this afternoon and BFN. I am now on CD 40. What gives?

Wait a few days and test again with FMU. After BC your PMS might be totally different.

Also, the first three months after I was off the pill my cycles ranged from 28 days to 45 days!!!! GL!!!!

I had a very similar situation.

I went off the pill about 3 years ago and my cycles weren't too bad (32 days) but I only stayed off for about 4 months.

This time around (I went of BC in August) my cycles have been 48 days long!! I think as our bodies mature it takes longer to adjust.
