i know this has been asked before, but please bear with me...
i'm exhausted. for the last 3 nights ds has been having a hard time falling asleep and has been waking up very frequently, screaming and crying. he's been very mouthy and has sucked on his fingers so hard that he has a big red spot on one of them 
could he be teething?
how old was your child when they started teething?

I would say it is teething. My ds started teething around 3 months. good luck...you could always try tylenol

I don't know exactly when he started teething since he has always sucked his fingers since he was born.
His first teeth popped out when he was 4 months if that helps

DD has been like that all day - she will only nap for 10-15 minutes and then wake up crying. I called the ped and they said it was probably teething (she's also drooling like a maniac) and to give her a dose of tylenol.
She will be 3 months on Thursday.

sounds exactly like what jonah is doing. he is going to be 3 months, 2 weeks old on friday. i am going to call the ped tomorrow, but will give him some tylenol tonight. thanks...
