I am having a rough time transitioning my DD from so many bottles a day, and I feel like all she does now is eat!!!

I've heard we should be shooting for 5-6 small meals per day--does that sound right? Also, can I depend on DD to stop when she's had enough, or do I have to worry that I'm giving her too much?

I'm already starting to be extra-cautious not to expose my DD to the same sloppy eating habits that have caused me to be overweight for most of my life Chat Icon

I usually follow the serving size suggestions and cut it back a little since I figured those are suggestions for adults. DD usually stops when she has had enough anyway.

I do 3 meals a day and 2-3 snacks.

bk - 730
snack 930
lunch 1130
snack 200
dinner between 435 & 5
usually just gets milk around 630 before bed

I try to mostly give healthy/light snacks. rasins, grapes, blueberries, fig bars, goldfish.

I still BF them in the morning and then:

Breakfast:
waffle
applesauce/oatmeal
banana
cheerios
water

Lunch
Yogurt
banana
avocado
cheese
milk

Dinner
I have to get better with this, they usually have
broccoli mixed with mac n cheese
fish sticks and peas
soup
various veggies
milk

and they are still getting a bottle of formula before bed, which I am planning on cutting out in the next week or two.

I haven't been giving them snacks, but they don't seem like they want or need them.
