I know this was asked.....
I had seen a link here explaining when you should take HPT other than first thing in the morning. I think it was wait 3-4 hours and then take test...anyone have this post to bump?

HPT should be taken with first morning urine. OPK's should be taken between 12-8PM

though i took my 1st HPt and got a + 8 DPO and it was at 400 in the afternoon, it was faint though, it'll be darker if you do first morning urine

Well you can really take a HPT anytime of the day, but the reason they tell you to take it in the morning is that your levels are more likely higher so you are more likely to get a + since the hormone has time to accumulate in your urine.
