i went out to dinner with rachel (prncss) and the restaurant usually does buy 2 meals get a kids meal free. they told me becuase today is a holiday they dont honor it. its enough they put out full priced menu instead of the price fixed they usually do during the week plus its going to be busy for them but give me a break. its not a holiday. so what about groundhogs day, flag day?

Ridiculous. How much could your kids eat? Chat Icon Also people with kids leave faster because we don't have that long before a meltdown happens.Chat Icon

exactly. dont want to sound cheap but i think that this was stupid for them to call it a holiday. it was busier to begin with and kids meals are only 4.99 plus we had to get the premium meals instead of the 4 course for 12.99 at 430 in the afternoon. ok if it was 830 and we were holding up a table maybe.

Yeah, it was a little ridiculous, but what can you do? It's a small price to pay to dine with such excellent companyChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Unfortunately, most restaurants do consider Valentine's Day a 'holiday". It's just an excuse to jack up the menu prices but it's a common practice. A lot of restaurants don't even put out there regular menu either.
