I'm on vacation after today!
Tomorrow, riding lessons. Sunday, my horse Joey is going to compete in his very first dressage show. So most of the weekend will be taken up with horse activities.
Sunday afternoon after the horse show, we are headed to the Finger Lakes to go to a spa for a few days and do some wine tasting!

This is nuts, but DH and I avoided Lost for the longest time, and then decided to rent season 1. I became a crack adict with it, went through the season in a week, and now made DH get season 2. We watched 2 episodes last night, so I want to go through more this weekend.
We hope to get outside, play, and then we have a GTG on Saturday.
also, I am training for a 4 mi race, and since I haven't raced in years, I have to get on the treadmill a bit this weekend to build up my speed, cardio, etc....

I watched the entire first season of LOST the WEEKEND before the second season started 
We are currently doing this with Mad Men. Tonight starts the first episode ever! I can't wait because we have seen a few of the later episodes and it is such an awesome show!

we are ATTEMPTING to finish painting all of the rooms in my house (we have to finish 2 and paint one entirely)
we painted our front door RED last week (we did this until we get around to buying a new one) and I want to paint the shutters on the outside of my house BLACK!
we will also be painting/staining some furniture and will continue the epic battle with the leaves in my yard.
one of my nieces and godchildren will be up there so I hope we can do something fun with the kiddies too.

Tonight: buying a new bird to keep my bird company. One of my finches died last night 
Tomorrow: food shopping, laundry, getting DH ready for his work trip.
Sunday: Driving DH to the airport at 6am and then some me-time. I'll probably do some quilting and get my lecture ready for Monday.
All in all, not a very fun weekend.

Saturday-same as any other day, childcare, cleaning, etc. DH has his "me" day.
Sunday-we need to install safety gates and pick up a lot of things for the house. I may get to plant my bulbs--that will be my me time this weekend.
