Super mom. Nursing twins. My mom wanted to nurse me and my twin but did not think she could. Your very encouraging to moms and moms of multiples that it can be done.

I swear, I've loved the experience so much that I've often thought about changing careers and becoming a lactation consultant. I adore providing positive support to other BFing mothers. I feel such a kinship with them.
You've answered so many questions for so many of us...I think you would be an awesome lactation consultant!!!

I never thought I'd enjoy BFing. The first 6 weeks were awful and I thought about quitting every day. Although it got better, I didn't really love it. It was ok and there were some things I liked about it, but it wasn't this amazing experience for me. I continued b/c I felt it was the best for DS and he was doing very well with BM.
At some point, it changed. I really enjoy BFing and I look forward to that time with DS. I have to pump at work, but I'd choose BFing over pumping any day. DS is 4.5 months and I hope to BF him for at least 1 year. It's a huge commitment and it's not easy, but I'm so glad I decided to BF and stuck with it.

when i got pregnant with my dd last year, i made a list of alot of things i felt like i wanted to change the way i did with my ds..my NUMBER 1 thing was to at least TRY nursing my baby..i was SOOOOOO totally against doing it with my son..i felt uncomfortable about even discussing it..
i am so completely comfortable (almost 4 months in now) with BFing my dd, and i feel sad that i never tried it before..i literally almost quit doing it like 5 or 6 times..but i pushed through all the pain, exhaustion, and lousy feelings just long enough to experience how INCREDIBLE it is to be able to nourish my baby with my own body..
its truly amazing..
and i owe it to my bff (beaviss80) i would NEVER have done it without her
aw, jaime. that means so much to me.
month 15 of EBF over here and loving it!!!

May I join in and say I LOVE BFing too!!!!
My boy is getting soooo big, it's just so rewarding!!! I have to agree though the first 10 weeks for me where the hardest and it only became enjoyable after! There were so many times I wanted to quit!!! I'm so glad I stuck to it!
