I love my daughter...
Emily is sick this weekend (I got her sick, I feel so bad) with a 103.2 fever this afternoon...
We got the fever down with tylenol and motrin, but when she woke up at 3:30 just before crying for me, I thought she'd be up all night, sick.
Instead she was a ball of happy energy when I went in her room. She was excited because we left her Micky Mouse Christmas Lights on around her window. She was asking me where Daddy was, telling me that it was nighttime and saying "shhh, Daddy's Sleeping."
Everything she said for the 45 minutes she was up was hyper and enthusiastic.
Then I told her that it was nighttime, time to go back to sleep, and she said "Okay!" and let me tuck her right in.
I seriously love my kid. How in the world could anything else ever give me so much joy, even when being woken up at 3:30 in the am from it?!?!
