I love my DH, but sometimes he is such a bonehead!!
He was all excited to get me a gift certificate to jetblue for my b-day. Well, he changed his mind last minute and just got me the gift cards to american express, so I could book a flight with anyone. Well, ya can't use amex gift cards to book flights and it is clearly printed all over every paper and gift card he gave me!! He's so silly, thankfully he's not home, so I am not going to tell him, I don't want to hurt his feelings because he was so excited. I just booked my flight with my credit card and I'll use the gift cards to buy his b-day present, since I just used the money for his birthday to book my flight. All's well that ends well!!!
