I love my new camera
I wish we had gotten a DSLR camera earlier. DH has mainly taken the pictures so far since he read up a lot on how to use it, but hopefully I'll get to take more of my own soon. Here are several of my favorites from the past few weeks:

I got the Canon XSi body and the 50 mm f/1.8 lens, which is great for portrait pictures. We're looking into getting another lens or two (wide angle and zoom) at some point.
