I love when they play good music while you're on hold...
I'm sitting here on hold with a Sheraton and the song "Sweet Melissa" is playing (which happens to be a favorite song of mine)...I'm almost hoping I'm on hold long enough to hear the entire song!! 
Has this ever happened to anyone else or am I a complete freak!?!?

coincidentally, in a sweet yet slightly gay way, that is the song that plays when i call DH on his cell phone.
he keeps it on vibrate at the precinct

That's me too.
It also irks me when I'm standing in a store and a good song is playing, and then they interrupt it to page someone.

one time - at the office - when i was on hold sweet caroline was playing! it was great - i put it on speaker and put the volume up a bit so all of the other peeps in my office started humming and doing the "BAH BAH BAH's" hahaha -- and then the "so good! so good!"

I love the ringback tones. I love when I call a customer and they have a cool ringback. Then when they answer or their answering machine picks up I am like hey I like that song

I called a company recently that had different music options.
Press #1 for Rock
Press #2 for Alternative
Press #3 for 70's
etc, etc.
It was awesome...i kept calling back to try the different "stations" lol

It just doesn't happen often enough!
My company decided to switch up the hold music after having the same elevator music for like 7 years.
I tried to convince them to tap into a radio station or satellite. They said no and we wound up with just updated lame elevator music.

I had that happen recently when I was on hold with my kids' pediatrician's office. It was Magic Man by Heart and I was singing along and the receptionist came back on and we got into a whole convo about it and I was saying it's my fave Heart song and she was a fan too and it was her fave song by them as well.
