for my wisdom teeth

This is huge! I have been procrastinating for a loooong time, so this is a big thing for me! All four suckers are coming out and I will NOT be awake, that's for sure. So I apologize if I will be asking A LOT of questions. I'm a chicken when it comes to my mouth and I've been been put out before

Good Luck....I had 2 appts (2 teeth done at each). The worst part was later that night, but I made sure they gave my a strong prescription to take care of the pain.

I am a BIG chicken when it comes to my teeth too, but you will be fine. I had all four out at once (years ago -- summer of '95, I believe, after freshman year of college), and I was only sore for a few days, and then I was fine. And mine were all impacted, too. My best advice is valium and an ipod. They gave me a valium drip (which was AWESOME, btw ), and I had my discman on the whole time and couldn't hear a thing.

I had all four out my freshmen year of college. They put me under so I didn't feel a thing. I remember counting backwards from 100 and I got to 94.

Recovery sucked for the first two days. I just laid around watching movies, taking my prescription and eating soft foods. It was much better after that but I had chipmunk cheeks for about a week.

You'll do fine!
