I may need to kill DH... Update: His head is off the chopping block
DH works from 10-8 on Sunday. He's also a huge Giant's fan.
When the Giants won 2 weeks ago, he told me he was going to talk to his supervisor and try to get out at 3. And that he wanted to host a super bowl party.
Okay, so he sends out an e-mail to friends... and now we have between 8-10 people coming over.
Well he tells me yesterday... yesterday that he doesn't know if the other guy that works Sundays will be back from vacation to take care of the residents in the house (DH works for a company that helps adults who are mentally ill... he usually takes care of those who live on their own, but need some assistance... but for the last 2 weeks has also been helping with residents who live in the house since the other guy has been on vacation).
Normally the guy comes in at 12. Guess what, he didn't show. Now DH can't leave and I'm hosting everyone on my own until he gets home at 8:30.

Update:
DH just called. He called his supervisor and she said he could leave now... he just had to pick up one client at 7 to bring him back to the house.
He has redeemed himself

That suck$. I would make my DH call all of his friends to cancel (unless they're "our" friends). No way in hell I'd entertain DH's friends on my own.

He never called his supervisor to check though... he just assumed the other guy would be back
