I miss being pregnant

I know it's only been a week since I found out about my miscarriage, but I miss being pregnant so baaaaaadly. And I have to wait three months before we start trying again. My 1st reaction was never to even try ever again. But last night, I had this overwhelming feeling of wanting to be pregnant again. Don't know why I'm writing this, just had to get it out.

I'm sorry.

I feel that way very often myself and it has been months for me I waited 3 months to try again and it went quickly so hang in there. Now that we are trying again time feels like it is at a standstill. The 3 months went fast, this first 2 week wait is killing me.

It's so crazy because once you get a BFP your world changes. You eat differently, you do things differently, all to protect this little tiny baby.

It doesn't matter if you are pregnant for a day - or months - you now are thinking for two people instead of just yourself.

And then you have a miscarriage and in an instant it's just you again. You don't have to worry about warming your coldcuts and can go back to lifting heavy things. You see pregnant people everywhere and go to touch your belly, only to remember that you're not pregnant anymore. The dream that you had, even if it was only for a short time is gone.

I can honestly say this was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through - and I look forward to the day I am pregnant again - although I know I will be dreading every single second until that little baby is in my arms.

You are def. not alone

the whole experience of being pregnant will never be the same again. in a strange way it taught me to just be extremely thankful throughout my entire 2nd pregnancy. knowing how delicate everything can be it really brings you to a new understanding of it all. it's changed me for sure.

i felt the same way as you... missing being pregnant. and with each passing month of trying over and over again... i missed it as well. things did get easier though.

good luck with everything. IDK if you plan on trying again right away or not... but when you do.. you will be there again. i'm sorry you had to go through this.

Its been 7 months for me post 17wk loss and to this day, I still look down at my belly and miss being pregnant
