I miss Long Island...I'd rather have rain then snow
I live in Southern Orange County (Hudson Valley) and I miss Long Island. We are supposed to get over a foot of snow. 
All of you on LI are all lucky to get just rain.
I hate to vent about the weather, but I am so done with the winter and this past week of 50-60 degree weather was such a tease. DH is excited (he is a snowboarder & skier).
This is so depressing and I want spring back...now!
Thanks for letting me vent.

You can't believe everything they say on the news.  Channel 7 just said that LI only got rain.

The roads are really bad here. It's an icy mess outside. I saw an overturned SUV on my way home from work. Sunrise Hgwy was really horrible even in AWD.

I used to live in Dutchess and it was so much worse than long island! I feel your pain! It's a few inches probably here, but I am sure you have much, much more!

D its not that great here!! It is nasty sleet & Ice! But I wish you were down here so we could get together and do our bake off's like we use too!! Miss you honey!!!

IMO what we got is worse than snow.
It's all ice and very very slick on the roads.
