i need a doctor....
we its been 8 months and no luck. i was late this month for the first time in yrs. i thought this was it. but i got AF this morning. i am so upset that im typing through my tears right now. My DH and i agreed upon seeing a RE dr. does any recommend one in the garden city/mineola area please let us know. THANKS and baby dust to all

I am so sorry that you are going through this. It is very difficult. There is an RE in the Garden City/Mineola area that I actually DO NOT recommend.
I have switched to NSUH (manhasset) so not too far from Mineola and have been quite please. Here is their website.NSUH Center for Human Reproduction

what does your OBGYN say?
How old are you? Usually the first steps are taken by an OBGYN unless your over 35.
Are you using OPK's and temping?
I know the first few months we "tried" we were doing it on the completly wrong days...and in reality those months dont really count as a real try ya know?
I think you shoudl speak to your OBGYN and get a recomendation.
When I went to the RE, they were very happy to see we had taken the first steps with my OB, such as intial blood test results, a detailed internal exam, a written recommendation for diagnosis. ..

I'm so sorry. I know how frustrated and upset you are. Both Donna and Pauline have really good things to say about their RE's. I don't have anyone in the area you are.

I would reccomend LI-IVF, they don't have an office in garden city/mineola. They have an office in melville and Lake Success. But they are great.

I see, and also Kara sees Dr. Kreiner of East Coast Fertility.
He has many offices, one in Plainview which sounds close to you.
I absolutely LOVE him and everyone that works there.
