I need a good fitting pair of jeans

I just got a pair of bootcut and the legs are way to big.Then i got slender bootcut and while the legs are better the length is long that i have to pay to get them shortened. the regular bootcut come in petite lengths but not the slender. i dont want to spend a fortune but woudl be willing to pay 100 bc these would be my weekend /going out to dinner/friedns hosue etc jeans.So idf i have to splurge i will.

I am 5'2 so i need short lengths.

Sorry, no advice but I would love this too! I am 5'2" and curvy so I don't like slender either.

i'm 5'2 also!!

angel jeans fit me the best... they have different options for the pant lengths too... like "short" "normal" "long" etc etc

i usually get the short & they are perfect!! they arevery reasonably priced too... about $30 @ kohls

I like any brand that comes in a petite length.

My everday jeans are AE, dressy jeans I like Express.

I just bought a pair of Simply Vera at Kohl's and I really like the jeans a lot. They are so soft!

Long and Lean at the Gap. They come in ankle, regular and tall.

If you are on LI the Banana Republic at Deer Park has a petite section. They had jeans there my sil was in no hemming heaven.

i'm also 5'2" and i really love citizens of humanity dita jeans; it's a petite inseam. i do have to wear heels with them but i didn't need to hem them and the fit is great.

eta -some washes are more expensive than others - also, revolve usually has a coupon code out there

i also have a hard time finding jeans that fit, i went to Off Saks and tried on like 10 different pairs and came out with 2
it was good cause you can try on so many different brands in one place

Off Saks has some good stuff and good brands. They have sevens and rock and republic, which are my favourites. The only problem is that some of the name brands they have there are "straight to discount" brands, which are their lesser quality pairs. Seven For All Mankind does this. AFAIK, R&R doesn't have "straight to discount" pairs.

I bought a straight to discount pair of sevens a few months ago and I am happy with them, but I do notice that the quality is a bit different to the ones I bought at Bloomingdales.

My advice is to just go in that dressing room with anything and everything you like. Try on and try on and try on. Don't worry about size numbers b/c they all vary anyway. Length is tricky b/c I get all mine hemmed. I figure if it fits perfect, buy it and hem it.

I, too, am 5"2
I wear Express pants and jeans (short) and DKNY jeans (short). But sometimes I'll try something on and love the fit, so I'd get it. Once, I'd bought Old Navy jeans for about $7, on sale, and they fit well. That was just a lucky find, though.

Same here, I'm 5'5" but have short legs and a coolie, so jeans are my nemesis!
I tried on what felt like 100 pairs just to get 2 that worked and then I STILL had to hem both and cinch the waist on 1......but they are my go to jeans now.....$300 later they better be!!!!
Oh, BTW they are Joe's jeans and Sevens, but don't know the styles off the top of my head...

I'm 5'3"

I have luck with express jeans.
They come in short sizes, but I still have to try a bunch on to get the correct fit.

Have you tried victorias secret? You can get some on clearance, and they fit really well.

they have nice stretch but dont look like stretchy jeans, kwim?

also forever 21 has some decent fitting jeans, take a bunch into the dressing room and i am sure you will find a good pair.

if they are too long, just get them hemmed. if you are willing to spend$100 on jeans, might as well pay another 15 for a good hem
they can re-attach the "weathered" bottom of the jeans
