I need a new OB pronto! needed LONG...
I am so sick to my stomach but I need to find a new OB ASAP. The OB group Im seeing now has been my doctors since I was born literally. They delivered me and my two siblings. the doctor who delivred us is no longer doing the deliveries.
Due to legal matters I can not say exactly what happened but they are directly responsible for the vegetative state that my friends child was born in and continues to live in (this was very recently proven in court). It's obvious that I no longer want them to touch me.
My dillemma is I have no idea where to start looking for a new hospital and doctor. I live out east and Im 5 months pregnant. Any suggestions???
My DH and I truly appreciate any help you could give.

I use University Associates...Todd Griffin. I love the practice. I delivered at Stonybrook and their offices are in East Setauket.

I use Suffolk OB/GYN...they have offices in Port Jeff, Wading River, Smithtown, and Patchogue and are affiliated with St. Charles. Hopefully that is not the practice you are talking about!!! :( If you want more info FM me.

I go to Dr. Zeinab Fath El-Bab in Riverhead & Wading River. She is wonderful & so is her staff. She has been practicing in NY for over 25 years. There are two other OB/GYN's there - her husband, Dr. Nataro & Dr. Spataro.

My OBGYN is in Stony Brook and I delivered at Stony Brook and had a good experience. He is probably too far for you.

I would like to know this too. I had a HORRBLE experience with 1 doctor there and may never go back there unless the other ob/gyn's there are better. Who do u use there?: FM mail me if you want. let me put it to you this way, the doctor had no bedisde manner when I needed advice and somone to talk to ! he was also an alarmist, and would not answer my calls when I was told to call immediately- there are am in the middle of a trip and he refused to get on the phone, I was PANIC striken and it turned out after 25 minutes of being on hold and calling back 3 times and he finally got off of his high horse to tell me something that was not that earth shattering. My poor DH and I were jumping out of our skin until he smugly got on and was so nasty to me. I can go on and on..

I see Dr. Ninia in Pt. Jeff. He delivered my son and will be delivering my other little boy in 2 weeks. I have had nothing but great experiences with him and his staff. If you have any questions feel free to FM me.
