I need a sun hat for Brody
that he can't get off. I haven't found one. He is so fair that the tops of his ears burned on Sunday even with sun block.
Can you show me what you use?

I had this on Nolan today...
Doesn't cover his ears but I just dug it out and kept putting it on him every time he took it off and distracted him before he could take it off. I'm trying to get him used to keeping a hat on for longer than mommy can take a picture!
I bought at BRU one of the dessert flappy hats that's like a baseball hat with a cape around. Hopefully by the time the sun is really going, he'll keep that one on.
I tried on a hand me down hat with a strap and he pulls it off around his neck and chokes himself! Summer is going to be fun with my fair redhead!

i found Em's at Carters - it's girly - but it's practical - it velcro's under her chin....so it's harder to get off. it doesn't have sunscreen in it - so for the summer - i'll find a similar one at BBB - they had a HUGE selection last summer...so i'll go there again!

I love the lands end ones. They have spf and the chin strap is pretty snug.

I just recommended these to someone else on here the other day. This is the 3rd spring/summer we've used these for DD, LOVE them. They have built-in SPF and a tie under the chin....they're perfect! And machine washable and waterproof-- can be worn in the pool!

We use the regular sunhats (I have 2 hats ever year so 1 is always clean) and they also have ones that cover the ears, etc.
I think that link is specifically the girls' hats, but check out their site, they do have boy hats.
