I need an overnight bag!
Any suggestions. I would like something cute big enough for a one night stay but nice enough to carry to work the next day.

I have the large duffel vera bradly...but not sure if I want another. It's always an option. Right now i use a Herve Chaplier...but its really old and dirty.

I have a bunch of Herve Chapelier's...
They come in tons of colors and sizes and fit sooo much!! I use one as a beach bag too.. I got mine in France, but they sell them in Bloomingdales I think.. Pic makes bag look small.. it's really not..
I also recently bought this adorable weekend bag from Victoria's Secret... I'm OBSESSED with it!! It's huge and has all these different compartments.. I wouldn't carry it to work though...
Just saw your post about having the Herve... so scratch that..

diane von furstenburg has really cute ones and sometimes you cna find them at Marshalls or TJMaxx, otherwise macys usually has her latest line.

I second the Diane von Furstenberg line. Macy's carries it (and is having sales now) but I bought mine in Marshalls. I have also seen them in BJs.
I have the bag with the large handles in this picture (with a slightly different pattern) and I have used it as both an overnight bag and for work and actually gotten lots of compliments on it.

I like the Vera Bag, but I work in a very "corporate" environment and would feel uncomfortable carrying that into work. I also sort of feel like the Vera Bag screams "I had a sleepover last night" which is none of your co-workers business! LOL!
I guess it depends how formal the attire of your office is.

YES!!! Looking for something a little more descreat. I use a Gucci tote regularly...so need something that looks a little more like a regular bag.
Thanks so much for all the help. I wonder if the large Longchamp bag is big enough.

I recently got a Tumi medium tote in black (of course  do I ever get anything else LOL) but they had other fun colors and it comes in Large which would be good as an overnight.
They were at the outlet and you can find them on ebay too. I think they are last years line.
ETS: actually now that I look at it the medium might be good for someone who knows how to pack for just one night unlike me!

I am a huge fan of lesportsacs- they have good duffels- and they aren't heavy. Heavy bags are a huge peeve of mine- who needs it to be heavy b/f you even put stuff in it.
they have a variety of shapes- duffels, totes, etc.

i have alot of overnight bags too. Another great one I have is a pink suede one from Banana Republic. I'm not sure if they still sell bags this big anymore.
