I need honest opinions please on this babysitting rate
Ok here it goes. I had such a hard time getting someone to watch the girls for 2 days a week 6 hours a day.
I finally got someone DH's cousin who is a college student 19 years old.
So we figured for the 2 days we would pay her 125.00 ( 12 hours total a week)
can you please tell me if that is ok.

thats almost $10.50 per hour - that seems fair.
I have no idea what the going rate is though

That seems like a good price. I know some sitters are $$, so as long as she is good on that price- it sounds like a good deal.

I think it's fine. Daycare teachers around my area charge $11/hour.
