I need recommendations for a bridal shower.
My BFF is getting married in Oct. I wanted to get some ideas of where to have her shower so I can start pricing around. Anyone know of places that are nice but not so $$$.

The George Washington Manor in Rosyln. I had mine there and i loved it!

I was going to recommend it too.
I got married there. I love the setting. Not just a restaurant and it's very reasonable.

Milleridge-- they have a ton of rooms to choose from
New Hyde Park Inn
Bonwitt Inn in Commack
Garden Grill in Smithtown

Gino's Tuscany in N> Bellmore. They have a brand new private room that they just redid and they do private parties; food is great!

My shower was there. They definitely did an excellent job.
I recently went to a shower at the Irish Coffee Pub and it was also fantastic. The food was delicious and the service was great.
I've thrown parties at Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City, too. Our RD and my parents' 40th anniversary party were there. They were great to deal with, too! The only thing to note (b/c it matters to some people) is that Seventh Street Cafe's party room is in the basement - so no windows. It is, however, a beautiful room and it never bothered me that there weren't any windows.

I am in Ronkonkoma but anywhere is fine since she has family coming from upstate NY and Conn.
