I need some advice and reassurance
I'm only in my 5th week, and feel absolutely nothing..I'm really worried. I want this so badly and I know it sounds crazy, but I wish I had morning sickness or some other symptom just to reassure me that something, anything was going on down there! The only symptoms I have at all are a headache (which I contribute to caffeine withdrawal), and horrible back pains at night (which I attribute to the progesterone). I don't have any morning sicknesss....nothing! My boobs are sort of sore, but I think that's also from the progesterone. Is this normal? I'm worried sick.

Re: I need some advice and reassurance
Perfectly normal!
I had no symptoms until 9 weeks. No nausea, sore boobs, etc. (in fact my boobs have never been sore) Many ladies don't start to feel anything until 6 or 7 weeks.
I totally understand the anxiety! I was almost happy when I woke up in my 9th week with severe nausea!

Re: I need some advice and reassurance
I know it is hard but try not to worry. Even if you do not have symptoms at 5w, which is super-early, that is not to say that you will not have symptoms later.
With my frist PG I had no real PG symptoms (well not anything I thought was a PG symptom) until my 2nd tri. My first tri was like a breeze. This time I am sick as a dog and feel awful for 2 months. I liked the first way better
And I hate to say, but even if you had symptoms there is always that worry....it begins the second you get a BFP

Sounds like you have more than enough symptoms to me sister...please, please, please don't wish for morning sickness...I only go it at about 8 weeks...you're still a little too early for it...but if you can get by with only a headache and some sore boobs...take it...don't get sick...just enjoy your health!! I promise more fun sypmtom will arrive soon...

Re: I need some advice and reassurance
im 13w6d and i feel absolutely nothing. I havent felt anything since day one. They do say nausea can kick in full force are 6-8 weeks but i never had it severe just every now and then. Consider your self a lucky one and enjoy that your not sick. It is perfectly normal and you will read a lot of girls on here felt the same way. You can also have a little bit of caffine everything in moderation is ok. Good luck and congrats!

Re: I need some advice and reassurance
i didn't have any symptoms except very very slightly sore boobs (which could have been from me squeezing them to see if they were sore ) and i was a little gassy and bloated. no nausea until 6 weeks, and i never had m/s.
seriously, enjoy this now (SO much easier said than done, i really know that ) because in a few weeks you are going to wish you had no symptoms!!

Re: I need some advice and reassurance
I had pretty much no symptoms from 4 weeks to about 9 weeks (when my belly started growing and the food aversions began).
I know it's difficult to wait it out, but you must.... soon you'll have a sono and you'll feel better!

Re: I need some advice and reassurance
You do not want morning sickness. Many people either don't have symptoms at all or don't get them for several weeks. I was nauseous 24/7 the first week after my BFP. The next week, I felt much better. The week after that, my morning sickness returned with a vengance. My boobs weren't sore until about 6 weeks. Try not to get worried. Everyone handles pregnancy differently.

Re: I need some advice and reassurance
You sound like me!!! I was freaking out in the beginning that I wasn't throwing up and feeling like crap. I kept saying something was wrong, well on comes the 7th week and I felt like a truck hit me and couldn't get out of bed, didn't have morning sickness but was just exhausted and felt AWFUL!!! totally normal not to feel anything this early on!!! BTW I'm 22 weeks now, with a healthy baby girl!!!

Re: I need some advice and reassurance
I've read so many posts about girls not having any symptoms early on, consider yourself blessed. You DO NOT want MS, it's horrible, I was miserable up until 15 weeks, so glad that's over. Enjoy feeling like yourself. When you see your baby on the sono screen it will put your mind at ease!

Re: I need some advice and reassurance
I couldve written that!
Every last one of my friends n family called me insane for WANTING to get symptoms, but I got nothing! I guess some of us just have it easier at first?
For me, I didn't have any morning sickness, vomitting, fatigue, nothing! I'm at 19 weeks now and I feel like I did 19 weeks ago, only bigger in the waist!
Don't worry yourself cause its not good for you...just take it one day at a time, enjoy the fact that you got a BFP and trust that everything is going well! I lived from sonogram to sonogram for a while, now I hope to start feeling the little one soon so I can start *really* feeling pregnant!

Re: I need some advice and reassurance
I am only 6w3d and was having the same concerns as you for the past two weeks. I am still feeling "okay" but today my back is killing me (I think it's the progesterone) and I have lots of cramping (since my BFP). Do not worry! Everyone's body reacts differently!

Re: I need some advice and reassurance
Just enjoy this time, because in a few Weeks, you might feel awful. M/S didn't hit me until 6 Weeks, and it lasted for 4 1/2 miserable Weeks. Try not to worry! Some people get hardly any symptoms their whole pregnancy, and they go on to have healthy babies.
